1. Overall impression of the masks

Authentic masks have the essences absorbed within the paper. The cut of the paper also looks more concised. Authentic masks do not have an uncomfortable and  sticky feeling when touched. The cutting of the imitation is very untidy and the "essence" gives a sticky feeling. Again, the content of the mask might be harmful to your skin as it is an imitation and is made in China. (see figure below)

2. The fragrance of the mask

Genuine MyBeauty Diary masks obviously has different scents for each type of mask. Rose fragrance for Bulgarian Rose mask and fruity scent for Mixed Berry masks. Fake masks smell the same for ALL TYPES of masks. Not to mention, they reek of alcohol.

ALL fake masks has the smell of cucumber. Although it's doesnt have a purgent smell it's still a FAKE! The emphasis is that, you can never be sure of how China manufactures this imitation good.

3. Mask paper

Authentic mask uses good quality paper which are thicker and not easily teared. As expectd. fake ones are low quality and it gets teared up with a slight pull.

 
4. Packaging bag inside situation:

Authentic masks do not have much residues of the essences left in the packaing after removing. The essences are mostly absorbed into the paper mask. Whereas the fake ones are dripping "essences" once they are removed. Totally messes up even before you can start using it. Not to mention that it is easily teared.

Authentic goods: (see below) The essence of genuine masks have thicker texture and the amount of residues is insignificant.
